She was determined to kill with all her fervor.

Full of valiance,

full of passion for independence

fire for independence burnt within her bosom.

Never bowed down in front of the British, never surrendered.

Defended her kingdom, till the end.

Many Britisher's souls trembled on hearing her name.

She was a woman of valour

Jhansi ki rani was her other name.

The fruit of liberation is sweet

but the struggle was bitter and severe.

Manu gave her life for us,

Without even shedding a tear.
